Old-fashioned Okutan restaurant with a simple signboard and signature lantern hanging in front of the door. When you come to this restaurant, you will enjoy a variety of tofu prepared in different ways. The ingredients to make this tofu dish are from soybeans, the dish is made by hand without using machines, so the ingredients are carefully selected. Okutan Restaurant is one of the oldest tofu restaurants in Kyoto, the perfect place to have a tofu meal, it has served vegetarian monks for hundreds of years. The tofu dishes here are prepared in a variety of ways and are presented beautifully. To go inside, visitors will go through a green garden, with the arrangement of large glass windows, visitors can relax watching the garden and enjoy the food. Diners will be served tea before enjoying the restaurant's specialty tofu dishes.
