The world's first Korean food restaurant to be awarded a 3-Michelin star rating - La Yeon at The Shilla Seoul serves traditional Korean delicacies in a fine dining setting. Located on the 23rd floor, this elegant restaurant offers views of downtown Seoul and features white and wooden furniture.

Award-winning chef, Kim Sung Il uses the highest quality local and seasonal ingredients to create a range of delicious Korean dishes. Traditional Korean delicacies tend to be very spicy and pungent, but the dishes at La Yeon Seoul showcase the subtle yet natural flavors of the ingredients, making them suitable for international clientele. La Yeon Seoul's set menu is inspired by the 4 seasons, sea and mountains in Seoul, each menu includes Korean desserts, desserts and teas, as well as optional wine pairings.
- Yeon menu (The Feast): For 120,000 won (plus 80.00 when paired with wine), features beef rolls with vegetables, seasonal fish, Korean beef slices marinated in soy sauce, and a choice of overseas noodles chilled pulses or hot pot rice with abalone and vegetables.

- Dignity menu : priced at about 165,000 won, with main courses including abalone, sea cucumber and beef porridge, chilled seafood salad, Korean soup, seafood hot pot rice and 10 Korean flavors to choose from seasonal ingredients.

- Shilla Menu: for an extended meal, Shilla Menu features scrumptious delicacies such as chicken and ginseng in cold soy milk broth, beef and mushroom dumplings, grilled eel and a choice between Korean beef tenderloin Charcoal grilled, grilled ribs or Korean braised beef ribs.

La Yeon restaurant is also known for its healthy desserts - a must try is hongsam bingseol, which is shaved ice with red beans and fragrant hongsam (red ginseng) ice cream. Another good option is tofu pyeon, made with ground soybeans with soy milk, topped with soft persimmons, strawberries, and blueberries.
