Koto is an acronym for “Know one, teach one” (roughly translated: when you know one, teach others one) is a non-profit organization based in Hanoi.
Every year, Koto receives 50-60 children with difficult circumstances but must be motivated and know how to overcome their fate. They will undergo 1 month of training to prove their ability. If selected, Koto will train for 2 years. Here, students will learn expertise in hotels, restaurants and learn English communication skills very methodically and professionally. After a period of hard work with their own efforts, some of them graduated from high school with high qualifications and worked in high-class restaurants and hotels, some even opened their own restaurants.
This organization was established in 1996 by an Australian citizen of Vietnamese origin – Mr. Jimmy Pham. On a visit to the country, he saw the orphaned children in Hanoi, he couldn't help but feel pity and suddenly realized one thing: only trained skills can help them have a stable career and a future. bright future. And since then, Koto restaurant was born for the first time in Hanoi, bringing life-changing opportunities for the less fortunate. Koto restaurant was born not only to give students more places to practice and work, but also to bring to customers delicious and unique dishes with the taste of Vietnamese cuisine as well as diverse cuisines. style, Asia - Europe, ... with a diverse menu of dishes such as: spring rolls, chicken salad, duck cake with orange sauce, steamed seabass with banana leaves...
