Hon Ba Temple

Hon Ba is a small island near the shore of Vung Tau city on which there is a small temple called Ba Temple. If you go to visit the statue of Christ in Vung Tau, you will see Ba Temple located on the sea side. To get to the shrine you will have to go through the undersea road, the road is quite special because the road will be covered at high tide and only visible when the tide goes out, you will see the stone path appear. like in fairy tales.

Hon Ba temple was formerly established by the people to worship Thuy Long, the goddess, who always protects and supports the people going to the sea. Later, in 1971, the temple was repaired by a person named Thanh Phong, originally from Tra Vinh, to raise money to restore and repair the temple. After undergoing many repairs, Ba Temple has become more beautiful and is a popular tourist destination for pilgrimage. When you go to the temple, remember to know the schedule of high tide and low tide to cross the island.
