The beer festival is jointly organized by Bieronomy.com (artificial beer website) and Le petit newspaper Lyon (Lyonnais magazine). More than 120 breweries are present in the festival with breweries from all over the world such as from Germany, Switzerland, Spain, etc. With more malt and hop ingredients than usual, it attracts a lot of "beer followers".
The annual beer festival is often held on the last Saturday and Sunday of April. This is a good time to celebrate. The high temperature can rise up to 30°C, making festival guests more thirsty and drinking beer will feel better and "already". When participating in the festival, you will discover a space dedicated to music with famous DJs, another space dedicated to fresh food served to festival guests.
Although the festival takes place at the old sugar factory, the friendly atmosphere and simple decoration also attract a lot of tourists to visit. Here, there is a Children's area, a play area and a food area, so it is also a popular spot for families.
