Yen Tu is an indispensable place in the New Year's pilgrimage of all people when coming to Quang Ninh, where the formation and development of Truc Lam Yen Tu Zen sect was founded by Buddha Emperor Tran Nhan Tong. This relic is located in Uong Bi city, the distance from Ha Long city center to Yen Tu is 51km, if you go by car, it takes 1 hour and 10 minutes to arrive. If you go down from Hanoi, the distance will be 140km, going by car will take 2 hours and 45 minutes. The most beautiful time of the year to go to Yen Tu is at the beginning of the year, from January to March of the lunar calendar, this time there are many special festivals that have attracted a large number of visitors to Yen Tu. To get to Dong Pagoda, the highest pagoda is located at the top of the mountain (1068m above sea level), you will have two ways. One is walking through the forest to see firsthand the ancient pine and bamboo forest, whose trees are up to 700 years old. The time to conquer the top of Chua Dong and back down to the foot of the mountain usually takes an average of 7 hours depending on the health of the climber. Yen Tu relic area includes a system of pagodas and temples, with many long-standing historical values associated with Truc Lam Yen Tu Zen sect. This Zen sect was founded by Buddha Emperor Tran Nhan Tong, who gave up his throne to become a monk. Reading the road from the foot of the mountain to the Dong Pagoda has many attractions such as:

- The area of Giai Oan Stream and Giai Oan Pagoda where worshiping the palace ladies and concubines of King Tran Nhan Tong wanted to go to the mountain to beg the king to return to the court, but they drowned themselves in the stream.

- Hue Quang Tower Garden: is the place to keep the jade bones of the monks who used to practice in Yen Tu. Here, the tower still holds a part of the remains of King Tran Nhan Tong.

- Hoa Yen Pagoda : In the past, it was the place where the Emperor Buddha preached.

- One Mai Pagoda : Where King Tran Nhan Tong used to come here to read books and compose sutras.

- Buddha statue of Emperor Tran Nhan Tong is the largest monolithic bronze statue in Asia.
