Profile
Xom Ro embankment is located in Dong Tac area, Phu Dong ward, Tuy Hoa city, Phu Yen province. Local people said: “This place is heavily influenced by nature, so it is often flooded, eroded and landslides. Therefore, the local government decided to build embankments to prevent erosion and landslides.” But what no one expected was that since construction until now, square hollow concrete blocks were dropped into the sea along with boulders, after a while, green moss was born and they kept growing. accented by the strange beauty, scoring with every visitor coming here. The color of green moss clings to the rocks and becomes more beautiful when each wave hits the shore, blending with the silver color of the sea. Depending on the sunlight and time, the moss here changes color when it is young green, when it is silvery white, when it is dark green, just like the moss.
The time period that is considered the most beautiful moment at the embankment is:
– When the tide recedes and dawn has just appeared (around 5-6 am). The green color of moss resonates with the early morning sunlight to create an extremely eye-catching, fresh and vibrant picture.
– At noon you will notice the color change (from green to silver iridescent like silk) of moss in the bright sunlight.
– When the sunset comes down with red sunlight through the rocky crevices, the moss is dark green, creating a mesmerizing beauty for those who like to watch the sunset.
The best time to have moss is in the spring, from the end of December to March. Especially the moss here is small and long, so it is very slippery, you come here to pay attention to limit slipping.
