Da Lat train station is always a top tourist attraction, it is also one of the last two ancient railway stations in Vietnam.

Da Lat train station is located about 500m from the city center, the station was built under the French colonial period and completed in 1938, this is considered the most beautiful station architecture in Indochina at that time. The railway line is 84km long, connecting Thap Cham with Da Lat, the route goes through many different terrains, especially this railway has 16km of cog railway to bring the train to the ramp. This railway also marks this as one of the three rare cog railways in the world. Currently, at Da Lat station, there is still one last cogwheel steam locomotive. This train station is always the first place chosen by tourists for their first visit to Da Lat.

Now, the route from Da Lat to Thap Cham has been abandoned for a long time, but the station has opened a train route from the station to Trai Mat area so that visitors can experience this unique form of travel on Da Lat. These trains go very slowly so that visitors can feel the beauty on the way, especially in the wildflower season, you see the scenery on both sides of the road like covered with the yellow coat of this flower. Train fares are listed and do not change on holidays or Tet. For children under 1 meter, the train station is free of charge when boarding. For Vietnamese guests, the price is: 135,000 - 150,000 VND for round trip tickets and 100,000 VND for one way tickets. For foreign guests: 170,000 VND round trip ticket and 150,000 VND one way ticket
