If you are a true backpacker, you should not ignore Tu Nham sand dunes, also known as "Vietnam's Mount Fuji". The top of the mountain is white sand covered all year round, looking from a distance like a snowy mountain of the tropics. Here, there are not only sand on all sides, but also the presence of green grasslands, as if adorning the natural picture more harmoniously, reducing the heat of sand on sunny summer afternoons. An interesting highlight in this sand hill is the harmonious space between white sand and green vegetation. Here you have a lot of things to try once in your life, and one thing is for sure, you will love it.

Tu Nham Sand Dunes is located in Tu Nham village, Xuan Thinh commune, Song Cau town, Phu Yen. The sand dunes are adjacent to the East Sea, Xuan Dai Bay and Xuan Thinh peninsula. Tu Nham sand dune is also known as Tu Nham sand dune by the local people. From Tuy Hoa you will travel about 65 km, and about 35 km from Quy Nhon. The path is lined with poplar lobes, undulating among coconut forests, following the green coast to the sand dunes. Suitable means of transportation are motorbikes or cars with 16 seats or less because the road to this place is quite small. The area of Tu Nham sand hill is mainly in the upper part, so you have to cross the casuarina forest and walk for about 10 minutes to get there. If you are going here for the first time, you should ask the locals to avoid getting lost in the casuarina maze. Because this place will be very difficult to determine the direction to the top of the sand hill. The distance is a bit long, but once you get here, you will find the journey is worth it. The sand dunes and beaches here all retain their original beauty, fresh air and very clean. Perhaps because this place is not known by many people and has not been affected by human hands much, it still retains a peaceful and dreamy scene.

Compared to the sand dunes in Ninh Thuan, the sand dunes of Tu Nham Phu Yen have a smaller area and the sand here does not have a variety of colors but is mainly pure white sand. So when visiting the sand dunes, you should remember to choose outstanding color costumes to easily take many real virtual live photos.

Note:

To enjoy the endless beauty of Tu Nham sand dunes, you should be at the sand dunes after 3pm because at that time the sun has softened, the sand is no longer hot, the sea breeze will be cooler. In addition, you can also admire the scene where the kiss begins to fall on Xuan Dai Bay.

The sunny months from March to August are the right time to see everything beautiful in Tu Nham. September to February is the long rainy season, Tu Nham sand hill looks sadder, the moment is also interrupted by accidental rains.
