Vienna's Ringstrasse is the most beautiful boulevard in the world and is not only home to many of Vienna's most famous attractions, such as the Imperial Palace, the Kunsthistorisches Museum and the Natural History Museum, and the Vienna State Theater and Parliament.

Vienna's Ringstrase is 5.3 km long. Long enough to provide space for many monumental buildings, built during the Historicism of the 1860s to 1890s. Today, buildings stand there - from the Vienna State Opera to the Museum Fine Arts - is one of the most important attractions in the city of Vienna.

The most notable buildings are not palaces, but grand buildings such as the State Opera (built in the Neo-Renaissance style), Parliament, City Hall (Flemish Gothic), Burgtheater (New Baroque) ), the university (Neo-Renaissance), the Museum of Applied Arts, the Vienna Stock Exchange and the Votive Church (New Gothic), all built in the second half of the 19th century. Worth seeing are also the Museum of Fine Arts and the Museum of Natural History, both built in the Neo-Renaissance style. They not only hold great art and natural treasures, but also architectural masterpieces.

Master builders such as Theophil von Hansen, Karl Freiherr von Hasenauer, Gottfried Semper, Heinrich von Ferstel and Friedrich von Schmidt have shaped the image of Ringstr.

You can use the Ring Tram or hop-on hop-off bus to visit Ringstrasse Avenue.
