Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Museum

Ba Ria - Vung Tau Museum has just opened and went into operation in July 2020, located on Tran Phu street not far from Bach Dinh, so visitors can easily find it. The museum is built on an area of more than 1.8 hectares, the building has 4 main floors, 3 towers, from a distance you will see the building with its striking white color that looks like a ship reaching out to overcome the waves. about the ocean. The professional design and thousands of precious documents and antiques have helped visitors to the museum have a very comprehensive and vivid view from the primitive to the modern period of Vung Tau. The design of each floor was a period that made it easy for visitors to learn, now the museum is divided into three floors, each with its own theme.

Floor 1: Natural landscape, flora and fauna, natural resources, ethnic communities and the period of reclaiming and opening land in the early 17th century of the city.

2nd floor: Display of artifacts about the period of resistance against French and American resistance, the heroism and bravery of the people here in the defense of the country.

3rd floor: The renewal period of Vung Tau land. Models of oil and gas exploitation rigs, ship ports and in addition, there is a display area for recovered antiques in Vung Tau waters. Previously, the sea route through Vung Tau was known as the sea silk road, so this sea now has a lot of precious antiques from shipwrecks when passing here.
