Located on the third floor of Royal Garden Plaza, Ripley's museum has over 300 works displayed inside 10 individually themed galleries inspired by the book "Believe it or not!" By Robert Leroy Ripley. Designed to balance three elements - strange, shocking and beautiful - the museum will blow your mind with objects and people you never thought existed on this planet. And if you leave the museum and doubt whether what you've just seen really exists in real life, you haven't seen enough of the world.

Highlights of Ripley's Believe It or Not

Nothing life-changing, really, but perhaps some weird facts about the world you live in. A lot of the exhibits focus on the things you least expect to see, which made the museum famous in the first place, such as a mask made from human skin, a real human head being shrunken, rudimentary torture devices and wax figures of a four-eyed man, among others. Some are actual items, while others are replicas.

But quirky isn't the only thing you'll find at the museum. Exhibits extend to curious facts and inventions, such as the Titanic made from over a million matchsticks and a model of a 1937 Jaguar that is actually a motorboat. In addition to the museum, other attractions at Ripley's Believe It or Not! including The Infinity Maze, Ripley's 4D Moving Theater, Ripley's Haunted Adventure and the Tussauds Wax Museum. You could easily spend an entire day here and leave with compelling stories to pass on to friends and family back home.

The story of Ripley's life is as amazing as the collections inside the museum. A self-taught artist, Ripley has traveled the world and as a personal hobby, documenting all the quirks he has witnessed along the way. His lifelong passion for travel and adventure has taken him to many parts of the world, whether to Europe, Central America, South America and Asia, where he feels at home in China.

When traveling, he records everything and curious creatures he sees. Using his artistic talents, he drew them into cartoons and published them in a series of animated panels titled “Believe it or Not!”, which later evolved into radio shows and TV. At the height of his career, his animated series had an estimated readership of 80 million.
