Profile

A sister restaurant of Minami no Ue in Minami Shibuya. With the concept of "better than average," the restaurant offers more casual than a kappo (Japanese-style restaurant) but more robust than an "izakaya" (Japanese-style bar), with dishes made with seasonal ingredients and rice cooked in earthenware pots. Our chefs take the time and effort to prepare each dish in a homey Japanese style using carefully prepared soup stock, such as meat and potatoes, oden, and "obanzai", to make your meal a little more luxurious than usual. We have also reproduced the "Yakitetsu" of the famous restaurant "Meat Kappou Tsukiji Sahaya". Please enjoy the original "Yakitetsu", which is the original sukiyaki that Japanese people used to eat in the Meiji Era. In addition, as a meat Kappo restaurant, we offer fresh raw meat "Meat Tessa" and "Charcoal Grilled Wagyu Beef" and a variety of other dishes. Please be sure to try our sommelier-selected wines from all over the world, especially Japanese wines, to accompany your meal, as well as fine sake from all over the country.
