Ayutthaya is the ancient capital of Thailand with hundreds of ancient temple architectures built of red bricks, located 80 km north of Bangkok. Ayutthaya is surrounded by three poetic rivers: Chao Phraya, Lop Buri and Pasak and was recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage Site in 1991.

In Ayutthaya, visitors can visit the following destinations:

Ayutthaya Historical Park: It is home to the main monuments of Ayutthaya, including temples, pagodas, and other structures. Visitors can walk or rent bicycles to explore the different areas of the mausoleum.
Wat Mahathat: As one of the most famous temples in Ayutthaya, Wat Mahathat is famous for the Bodhi tree growing around a Buddha statue. This is a popular spot for photography and where you can find iconic photographs of Ayutthaya.
Wat Phra Si Sanphet: This is the temple where the largest Buddha statue in Ayutthaya was located. This temple has beautiful architecture and creates a unique historical setting.
Viharn Phra Mongkol Bopit: This place is famous for the largest sitting Buddha in Ayutthaya. Visitors can visit the temple and admire the impressive sitting Buddha. Bang Pa-In Palace: Located outside Ayutthaya, Bang Pa-In palace is considered an important attraction.

Ayutthaya Museum: This is a popular attraction for a deeper understanding of Ayutthaya's history and heritage. The museum displays artifacts, artwork and simulations of life during the Ayutthaya dynasty.
