Cooking Class Experience in the Hoi An Countryside

Note: Guests can choose between 2 departure time options:

• Morning tour: 08:30 – 13:00
• Afternoon tour: 15:00 – 19:00

08:30 / 15:00: Meet the local guide at the hotel and depart for Cam Thanh countryside.

• Cam Thanh is known for its peaceful riverside atmosphere, nipa palm areas, and local farming villages surrounding Hoi An. The area still keeps a relaxed countryside lifestyle.
• Arrive at Thanh Dong Organic Farm and take a short walk around the 10,000sqm vegetable garden cultivated by local families using organic farming methods.
• Guests learn about the villagers’ farming life and join gardening activities such as preparing the soil, watering vegetables, sowing seeds, or harvesting herbs.

10:00 / 16:30: Continue the journey by basket boat along the Do River toward the local restaurant area. The Do River is surrounded by nipa palms and peaceful riverside scenery. Along the way, guests can observe daily life in the countryside around Hoi An.

10:30 / 17:00: Join a Vietnamese cooking class with a local chef and learn how to prepare traditional dishes.

• Stir-fried morning glory with garlic

• Homemade yogurt
• Guests will directly prepare crispy eggplant rolls with meat and moringa salad with shrimp during the cooking session.

12:00 / 18:30: Enjoy a Vietnamese family-style lunch or dinner.

13:00 / 19:00: Return to the hotel and end of the tour.
